The Eat Healthy Mississippi Initiative has gained national attention. This Initiative provides an incredible opportunity for you to not only get your fresh produce and other goods into local restaurants; it also provides you with an opportunity to create long-lasting relationships with chefs. If you have not already, please let the Mississippi Hospitality and Restaurant Association (MHRA) know that you are willing and interested to work with local chefs and sell your products to them. It is easy to do. Just complete the Notice of Grower Intent (see attachment) and return to the MHRA at the email or fax listed at the bottom of the form. The MHRA has been working diligently with restaurants to let them know of opportunities to buy direct from growers just like you. Restaurants are looking for growers so need growers to sign up! This is an opportunity that you will not want to miss.
